The Member of Parliament for North Tongu and Chairman of John Mahama's newly formed "Operation Recover All Loot" (ORAL) team, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has emphasized that the group's mission is to recover the country's stolen resources, not to engage in political witch-hunting.
The five-member team, established by President-elect John Dramani Mahama, includes Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa as chairman, former Auditor-General Daniel Yao Domelevo, retired Police Commissioner COP Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, legal practitioner Martin Kpebu, and investigative journalist Raymond Archer.
Speaking on Eyewitness News on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, Ablakwa stressed the diverse and non-partisan nature of the team's composition, which he believes will enable the team to focus on its mandate of recovering looted resources without engaging in political vendettas. "If you look at the membership of this team, they are largely non-partisan.
Apart from me, everybody else is not.
