President-elect John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to addressing corruption and reducing inefficiencies within the public sector as key strategies for advancing the nation's development.

In an interview with Germany's DW TV, Mahama outlined plans for comprehensive reforms aimed at enhancing governance, promoting accountability, and eliminating waste within public institutions.

Acknowledging public frustration over poor resource management, governance shortcomings, and the rising national debt, Mahama identified corruption and inefficiency as major barriers to progress.

He stressed the need for structural reforms to establish economic stability and ensure effective leadership.
