The Precious Minerals Marketing Company (PMMC) has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC)'s National Organizer, Joseph Yamin, and others of attempting to interfere with bullion bars belonging to the Bank of Ghana (BoG).
The PMMC disclosed this in a press statement issued on Wednesday, 18th December, following the incident, which occurred on Tuesday, 17th December.
According to the statement, the bullion bars in question are part of the Bank of Ghana's Domestic Gold Purchase Programme (DGPP).
The programme is a key initiative to strengthen Ghana's gold reserves and bolster the country's economy.
