Over 800 pupils of the Kwashieman Anglican "A" Basic School in the Ablekuma North Constituency have been displaced after a fire engulfed their school building on Tuesday, December 17.
The two-story structure, which housed essential facilities such as a library, a computer lab, classrooms, and ballot boxes with other electoral materials for the constituency, has been declared unsafe for use.
The fire, which broke out in the early hours of Tuesday, caused significant damage to the building and its contents.
Eyewitness Efua Mensah recounted the events, saying, "I was alerted about the fire at approximately 12:30 AM.
