The Ghana CSOs Platform has announced a new leadership aimed at strengthening civil society coordination in the pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The announcement follows a rigorous election process that took place from January to October 2024, during which new leaders were elected for all 18 National Sub-Platforms and 16 District Platforms.

This was contained in a statement signed by Levlyn Konadu Asiedu, the Secretariat of the Ghana CSOs Platform on Tuesday, December 16, 2024. "The Ghana CSOs Platform on SDGs successfully held a handing over and induction ceremony for its newly elected Co-Chairs and Steering Committee at the UNDP Conference Room in Accra", it noted.

It also noted that the event was aimed at boosting the capacity of the Platform in achieving the SDGs. "The event marks a significant milestone in the Platform's journey to strengthen civil society coordination in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Ghana," it indicated.
