The National Service Authority (NSA) has firmly denied allegations concerning the presence of "Ghost Names" and the manipulation of payroll figures associated with the distribution of allowances for National Service Personnel.

Claims have surfaced suggesting that the NSA inflated the payroll for National Service Personnel for the service years from 2018/2019 to 2023/2024.

In a statement released on December 16, the Director General of the NSA, Osei Assibey Antwi, characterized these allegations as "entirely unfounded and baseless." Nevertheless, the NSA has announced that its Governing Board has made the decisive move to enlist the assistance of the National Investigation Bureau (NIB) in examining these allegations.

The NSA urged the public to exercise caution in their comments and publications regarding this matter and the individuals implicated.
