The Asogli State has congratulated the President-Elect, , following his decisive victory in the 2024 elections.
In a statement issued on Monday, December 16, 2014, the traditional leadership of the Asogli State praised the overwhelming confidence Ghanaians have placed in his leadership and vision for the nation. "The margin of your victory is a testament to the confidence and trust Ghanaians have placed in your leadership and your vision for our beloved nation. "Your Excellency, the hope of an entire nation now rests on your shoulders," it noted.
The Asogli State further emphasised that the electorate had displayed a strong rejection of dishonesty, lawlessness, corruption, and economic mismanagement. "The people of Ghana have spoken resoundingly against dishonesty, lawlessness, injustice, divisiveness, arrogance, corruption, economic mismanagement, joblessness, and the destruction of our lands and rivers. "They have entrusted you with the mandate to lead a united Ghana toward prosperity," it added.
The traditional leadership urged the president-elect to uphold inclusivity, equity, and justice in his governance. "We believe you will be a leader of all our citizens, regardless of political, ethnic, or regional affiliations, and that your policies, conduct, and decisions will be guided by the principles of inclusivity, equity, and justice," it added.
