Ghana's President-elect, John Dramani Mahama, has reaffirmed his unwavering faith in God's favour upon the nation, assuring Ghanaians that they will not be abandoned during these challenging times.
Speaking at a thanksgiving service held at the Assemblies of God Church in Accra on Sunday, Mahama addressed the severe economic crisis confronting the country.
Despite the daunting challenges, he expressed optimism about a brighter future, emphasizing the importance of collective effort and divine guidance in overcoming the nation's difficulties. "God's favour is still on our dear country Ghana and I know he will not forsake us," Mahama declared.
He further emphasised the challenges ahead, noting the significant effort required to restore economic prosperity. "I can confirm that our country is still in a very severe economic crisis and it is going to take a lot of work to bring it back.
