Senior Advisor to , Ohene Ntow, has strongly criticised the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the aftermath of the general elections.

He has argued that Ghanaians had narrowly avoided a disastrous fate by voting the NPP out of power. "With the level of corruption, the arrogance of power, mismanagement, economic difficulties, and the destruction of our natural resources, if the NPP had won this election, Ghana would've been finished," he stated during an interview on TV3 on Saturday, December 14, 2024.

Ohene Ntow's comments underscore the widespread dissatisfaction with the NPP government's handling of key national issues during its tenure.

He criticised the NPP administration for mismanaging the economy and mishandling the country's natural resources, pointing to illegal mining (galamsey) activities that have devastated water bodies and agricultural lands as a prime example.
