It is widely believed that most politicians are, in fact, friends behind the scenes, and their public rivalries are often more theatrical than genuine.

Many suggest that politicians, regardless of their affiliations, maintain cordial relationships and share meals and drinks out of the public eye.

Meanwhile, they use crafted narratives to keep the poor and middle class distracted and divided.
