In a recent interview on TV3's NewDay, Nana Yaa Jantuah made serious allegations about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its treatment of Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, claiming that the party deliberately pushed him to become the flagbearer to ultimately dispose of him after his defeat.
Jantuah revealed that Dr.
Bawumia himself admitted to losing about 48% of the internal support, which included members of his own party. "Bawumia has acknowledged that he lost 40% of votes internally, within his own people," she stated, adding that the party had orchestrated his defeat as part of a larger scheme to oust him. "They set him up for defeat so they can kick him out.
