President Akufo-Addo has promised to initiate measures to deal with the impact of the current dry season in the northern regions of Ghana. Farmers in the northern sector of the country have in recent days had their crops and farm output destroyed due to the ongoing drought in that part of the country. Media General has received reports from farmers in the affected areas about the devastating impact of the dry season on their farming activities. President Akufo-Addo made the assurance after he commissioned the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 15. President Akufo-Addo tweeted: "As I am in the region, it is important that I comment on a matter of considerable importance to the peoples of the northern regions of our country.
