The General Secretary of the (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, has urged the (NDC) to accept the re-collated election results in the Eastern Region, amidst ongoing disagreements.
Speaking during an interview on TV3, at the Tesano Police Station, on Friday, December 13, 2024, he criticised the NDC's inconsistent positions and questioned their credibility in handling the issue.
Justin Kodua further recounted an instance where an NDC representative initially claimed there had been an Inter-Party Advisory Committee (IPAC) meeting asking for evidence such as a text message or official letter summoning the meeting. "How can someone who earlier claimed there was an IPAC meeting, only to later allege an injunction, be taken seriously?" Kodua questioned, expressing skepticism about the NDC's actions.
Addressing concerns raised by the NDC over alleged discrepancies during the re-collation process, the NPP General Secretary maintained that the electoral process was transparent and that any identified issues had no bearing on the results.
