The family of Nhyira Marfo Okyere, a deceased member of popular gospel music group, Team Eternity Ghana has debunked claims about the cause of the death of the singer. Nhyira passed on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, with speculations suggesting she died due to food poisoning. However, the family has issued a statement signed by the head, Eric Agyei Mante which clarified that Nhyira did not die due to food poisoning. "We have become aware of certain speculations circulating on social media regarding the cause of Nhyira's death, including claims of poisoning and other unsubstantiated rumours. We wish to categorically state that these claims are completely untrue and unfounded," the statement stated. The statement noted that the cause of death has not been ascertained and urged the public to refrain from spreading false rumours about Nhyira's death.
