The Member of Parliament for the Old Tafo Constituency, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, has suffered a heavy dip in votes of some 8,519 in the 2024 parliamentary election.
The deputy minister of local government who contested on the ticket of the (NPP) polled 34,097 votes, representing 68.46% of the total votes cast.
Even though he has secured a second term in office, this is a sharp drop from the NPP's performance in 2020 when he garnered 42,616 votes, constituting 74.55%.
