A former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the (NDC), Joseph Ade-Coker, has clarified that John Mahama did not cause the 2012 "Dumsor" crisis.
Speaking with Naa Ashorkor on TV3's New Day, Ade-Coker explained that upon assuming office in 2012, John Mahama inherited a power crisis resulting from an imbalance between Ghana's electricity generation capacity and its growing population.
Recognizing this, Mahama took decisive steps to address the issue. "The power crisis was not John Mahama's fault.
At the time of Ghana's independence, our population was just over six million, and we relied on diesel-powered machines for electricity.
