The (EC) has declared Kwame Appiah Kodua the winner of the disputed parliamentary elections for the Fanteakwa-North Constituency in the Eastern Region.
A re-collation exercise held earlier on Thursday December 12, 2024 at the Tesano Police Training School in Accra placed the Eastern Regional NADMO Coordinator, Appiah Kodua ahead of the NDC Candidate with 11,751 votes.
The NDC Candidate, Haruna Apaw-Wiredu, also garnered 11,297 votes.
The re-collation and subsequent declaration comes days after the EC declared Apaw Wiredu the winner of the election and the Parliamentary Candidate-elect for the Fanteakwa-North Constituency.
