Nigerian afrobeats artiste Davido has asserted that he has undeniably influenced Afrobeats in Africa and the world.
The Grammy nominated artiste emphasised in a post on Instagram that his name cannot be excluded in any conversation about the Afrobeat genre.
Davido's statement comes as he prepares for the release of his fifth studio album, 5IVE, scheduled to debut in March 2025.
Widely celebrated for his international success, Davido has played a key role in projecting Afrobeats to global recognition.
