The Chief Executive Officer of Tobinco Group of Companies, Samuel Amo Tobbin, has attributed his victory in the Tobinco-FDA judgement to his practice of paying tithes in church. In an interview on Channel One TV's Point of View, Amo Tobbin suggested that his dedication to paying tithe turned his misfortunes into victorious moments, following an Accra High Court's ruling that exonerated his company from accusations of importing fake drugs into the country. "It is simple and I don't know if the other churches are doing same. We were not like that when we came in, it's the church that made us who we are by the teachings that they give through tithing and sacrificial offering. You give sacrificially and nobody pushes or forces you, you give out. "We teach you how to tithe. Give at least 10% of your income, your profit to God and we do it.
