The Ghana Police Service in collaboration with some members of the Awutu Bereku community have arrested four persons for allegedly stealing some building materials procured for the construction of Agenda 111 Hospital at Awutu Bereku in the Central Region.
The suspects were arrested on December 10 2024, following the interception of a Man Diesel truck, with registration number GT 8715-Z, driven by one of the suspects identified as Kwabena Ayamba, loaded with assorted building materials.
In a statement, Police say investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly contracted by the project contractor to transport the items from the Agenda 111 project site to Tema.
The suspects are currently in custody assisting with investigations.
