The West African Gas Pipeline Company Limited (WAPCo) has announced that its Tema Regulatory & Metering Station has been shut down due to some operational upsets.

WAPCO had stated that the cleaning and inspection of the 56km x 30" onshore pipeline section between Itoki and Badagry, part of the West African Gas Pipeline (WAGP) in Nigeria, is progressing steadily.

During the cleaning exercise, it said, a larger-than-expected volume of liquids and debris was received at the Lagos Beach Compressor Station.

This has triggered some operational upsets at our Tema Regulatory & Metering Station requiring a temporary shutdown for safety reasons and investigation.
