The International Drivers and Road Transport Union of Trades Union Congress (TUC), has extended warm congratulations to President-Elect John Dramani Mahama on his resounding victory in Ghana's presidential election.
At a press conference, General Secretary of the Union, Anane Frimpong lauded Mahama's commitment to the welfare of commercial drivers and the entire country.
He commended the National Democratic Congress (NDC's) policies outlined in the party's manifesto and dedication to addressing the pressing issues facing the transport sector.
Highlighting the challenges ahead, Anane Frimpong urged the President-Elect to focus on stabilizing the exchange rate and the prices of petroleum products.
