The Overlord of the Mo Traditional Area in the Kintampo Bono East Region, Nana Kwaku Dankwa III, has congratulated President-Elect John Dramani Mahama.

In an official letter dated December 11, 2024, the traditional leader praised Mahama for his emphatic and decisive victory in the just-concluded elections. "The outcome of the election demonstrated that it was not the NDC versus the NPP, but rather the generality of Ghanaians venting their frustration on the ruling government," Nana Kwaku Dankwa III stated. "Though your victory was highly anticipated and never in doubt, the margin of victory was divine (Nyame Ama).

To obtain a 56%+ win and an absolute majority in Parliament is shocking." He described the results as a resounding endorsement from Ghanaians, reaffirming their trust in Mahama's abilities to deliver on his campaign promises.

Reflecting on Mahama's political journey, the Overlord recalled how the people of the Mo Traditional Area played a pivotal role in his initial election to Parliament in 1996.
