The Agbogbomefia of the Asogli State, Togbe Afede XIV, has said he finds it difficult to accept that the 'Agyapadeɛ' document which has become topical recently is a mere fabrication. The President of the Asogli Traditional Area and former President of the National House of Chiefs says the book has named one of his companies as part of the establishments the composers of the document are targeting. During a visit of the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, to the Volta Region as part of his campaign tour Tuesday, August 13, 2024, Togbe Afede indicated that although he found it difficult to believe the contents of the book, certain experiences he has had makes him think otherwise of his earlier assertion. "And more recently we are hearing about something called 'Agyapadeɛ' and sadly my company is also mentioned in that book. My small strategic African security is also mentioned in that book. I find it difficult to believe that that was a genuine document.
