The President-Elect, John Dramani Mahama has called on his supporters to maintain peace and refrain from actions that could undermine Ghana's democratic values.

This plea comes amidst heightened tensions following the recently concluded elections.

In a statement, Mahama emphasised the importance of patience and lawful conduct, urging his followers not to succumb to provocation or engage in activities that might escalate conflicts.

He highlighted the need to protect the democratic process and uphold the nation's reputation as a beacon of peace in Africa.
