The NDC parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma North, Ewurabyna Aubynn has been declared MP elect for the area following a stand off at the Greater Accra Regional collation Centre.
The declaration was made on December 10, 2024 after 219 results out of the 281 polling stations were collated.
The standoff between members of the NPP and the NDC had occurred since December 8, 2024 when the EC officials begun collating the results form all 281 polling stations.
The Ablekuma North seat has for the past twenty years being occupied by the NPP.
