The NPP in the Tolon Constituency has accused the 2024 NDC parliamentary candidate, Osman Tahiru Damba, and some NDC supporters of orchestrating violence in Nyankpala on election day, resulting in the death of one person.
According to the NPP, Dr.
Tahiru Damba led the group to the Nyankpala UDS polling station to disrupt the voting process.
At a press conference in Tolon, the Tolon Constituency Secretary of the NPP, Iddrisu Ganin Dawuni, condemned the acts of violence allegedly perpetrated by the NDC and urged the police to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice.
