The National Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), George Opare Addo, has warned young people engaged in vandalism across the country to desist from their activities.
He does not mince words when he says they will be made to face the full rigors of the law.
In a statement shared via social media, George Opare Addo sent a word of caution indicating that "the NDC Youth Wing calls upon any member involved in these activities to cease immediately and allow the authorities, party leadership, and the soon-to-be-named transition team to focus on protecting state properties from theft and potential capture by supporters of the outgoing government".
Meanwhile, President-elect John Dramani Mahama says he is not yet president and therefore, the current government must act decisively on the matter.
