President-elect John Dramani Mahama has called on outgoing President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to take immediate and decisive steps to address acts of vandalism and destruction targeting state institutions across the country.
The appeal follows reports of vandalism at key state facilities allegedly carried out by individuals identified as supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Affected installations reportedly include the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Ghana National Gas Company, Accra Passport Office, and other public institutions.
Addressing the nation on Tuesday, December 10, amidst rising tensions, Mahama strongly condemned the violent acts.
