Former Minority Leader in Ghana's Parliament, Cassiel Ato Forson, has assured Ghanaians that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will commence the implementation of all promised policies beginning January 7, 2024.
Speaking to Joy News following the NDC's victory in the just-concluded elections, Ato Forson described the results as a powerful statement from the electorate, characterizing the defeat of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) as a "revolution of the people of Ghana." "This serves as a deterrent to us all," Ato Forson emphasized. "I see a country that is angry-a country where citizens are demanding change from political actors and nothing more.
The status quo cannot be maintained." He reiterated the NDC's commitment to meeting the expectations of Ghanaians, pledging that policy implementation will begin as promised. "Starting January 7, 2024, the NDC will begin implementing policies that directly respond to the needs and demands of the people. "That, I can assure you," Ato Forson added, expressing optimism for the party's agenda.
