Patrick Yaw Boamah, the outgoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, has declared his intention to challenge the results of the parliamentary elections in court.

Boamah insists he is the rightful winner of the seat and will pursue all legal avenues to reverse what he describes as a "fraudulent declaration." In a statement on his official X handle, Boamah expressed his commitment to due process, saying, "I am a believer in due process, and I am taking the right steps to legally reverse this fraudulent declaration." π…πŽπ‘ πˆπŒπŒπ„πƒπˆπ€π“π„ π€π“π“π„ππ“πˆπŽπ I am a believer in due process and I am taking the right steps to legally reverse this fraudulent declaration.

I therefore urge all New Patriotic Party members, friends, well wishers to remain calm.

Thank you. - Patrick Yaw Boamah (@pyboamah) December 9, 2024 Boamah accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of seizing the Okaikwei Central parliamentary seat through what he termed a "coup d'Γ©tat." He alleged irregularities in the declaration process, citing coercion of the Returning Officer.
