President-elect John Mahama has said that for all its historic undertones, the events of the 2024 elections depict that Ghanaians have little tolerance for bad governance, particularly of the sort witnessed in the past eight years.

He added that the mandate extended to him and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) also serves as self-awareness of what fate awaits them if they fail to meet the aspirations of Ghanaians and govern with arrogance. "My brothers and sisters, there is much to do to salvage our country and reset it.
