The One Ghana Movement strongly condemns the recent wave of violence, vandalism, and looting that has erupted in various parts of the country following the December 7, 2024 general elections.
In a statement released on December 10, 2024, the movement described these acts of aggression as threats to the peace, stability, and unity of Ghana. "The One Ghana Movement unequivocally condemns the ongoing violence, vandalism, and looting reported in several parts of the country, including Damongo, Awutu Senya, Nsawam, Tamale, Techiman South, and Accra, following the presidential election. "These acts of aggression are a threat to the peace, stability, and unity of our beloved nation. "We acknowledge the peaceful concession made by the presidential candidate of the NPP in the spirit of democratic consolidation.
However, the post-election violence undermines the values of democracy," parts of the statement read.
