The Member of Parliament-elect of the Okaikwei Central Constituency, Baba Sadiq, could not hide his joy after he was declared the winner of the 2024 election in the constituency.
The collation of the 2024 parliamentary election for Okaikwei Central Constituency was taken to the Greater Accra Regional office of the Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) after confusion at the constituency collation centre.
After the declaration by the EC on Monday, December 9, 2024, Baba Sadiq said that he was surprised that his New Patriotic Party challenger, Dr.
Patrick Boamah, who is also the incumbent MP for the area, was not accepting defeat.
