Supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have blocked roads near the Accra Regional Office of the Electoral Commission (EC) using an electricity pole, intensifying tensions around the declaration of the Ablekuma North Constituency results.

The protest stems from frustrations over the police's refusal to allow NDC supporters into the EC premises.

The blockage caused temporary disruptions, but the police quickly intervened, compelling the protesters to remove the obstruction.

The NDC supporters had converged at the EC office to demand the immediate declaration of the Ablekuma North results.
