The declaration of NDC flagbearer, John Mahama as winner of the 2024 Presidential election was without nine constituency results, that's according to Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) Jean Mensa.
Announcing the results on December 9, Jean Mensa said the results of these constituencies are yet to be received.
She noted that there has been a delay in the results from the collation centres because party supporters have besieged the various collation centers of these constituencies. "We have not been able to collate results from nine constituencies because our offices have been besieged by political party supporters making it impossible to complete the collation process," she said.
