In a surprising twist of events, Gizella Tetteh Agbotui has etched her name in the history of Awutu Senya West politics as the first MP to break the one term syndrome.
The constituency is notable for changing its members of parliament every four years since 1992 with Hannah Serwaa Tetteh being the only legislator to have won twice but on separate occasions.
However, Gizella Agbotui Tetteh has made history by winning the seat in two successive elections by polling 33,995 of the total valid votes to easily ride over her contender, Eugene Arhin who is the Director of Communications at the presidency who trudged to defeat with 26,937 votes.
Excited about this feat, Gizella has pledged to fast-track infrastructural development across the constituency while continuing with her talent and skills development initiatives.
