The National Democratic Congress(NDC) Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has cautioned his fellow politicians against taking the Ghanaian electorate for granted.
According to him, the outcome of the 2024 elections has taught politicians a lesson to take the electorate seriously and serve them well, lest the politicians in office are kicked out.
In an interview with TV 3, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa who is a former Deputy Minister for Education stated that no seat can be declared safe for any political party going forward as shown by the results of the just ended election. "Now, there is no safe seat, there is no safe region in Ghana.
If you are a traditional politician thinking that at least I can run to my stronghold, I will run to this region I will get refuge, at least I will never go below 45-46%, all of that myth has been shattered by the 2024 election.
