The parliamentary results for the Damongo Constituency are in, and Samuel Abu Jinapor of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has emerged victorious, securing his seat for another term in Ghana's Parliament.
Jinapor garnered a total of 16,222 votes, comfortably beating his closest contender, Mutawakilu Adam of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), who received 14,425 votes.
Independent candidate Saaka Baba Moses trailed significantly, earning only 66 votes.
This victory underscores Jinapor's continued popularity in the constituency, a seat he first claimed in the 2020 elections, flipping what was traditionally an NDC stronghold.
