Dr Samuel Sarpong, National first Vice Chairman of NDC has assured that, President-elect, John Dramani Mahama will abide by the blueprint of the Asantehene regarding the region's development.
The former Mayor of Kumasi and also a former Ashanti Regional Minister disclosed that the President-elect has kept a copy of the development document and promises to use same as a guide.
Dr Samuel Sarpong commended the Asantehene for the counsel and guidance he offered before the December 7 elections.
Speaking through the Asantehene's linguist on December 8, after the historic electoral victory of the NDC, Dr Sarpong on behalf of the President-elect said the guidance and blessings Otumfuo offered the NDC has led to the party's famous electoral victory on Saturday.
