The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has urged its supporters to refrain from actions that could lead to the destruction of state property across various regions of the country.

Since December 8, there have been reports of individuals allegedly linked to the NDC engaging in acts of vandalism targeting state assets.

In a statement issued on December 9, NDC General Secretary Fifi Fiave condemned these actions as "unacceptable" and cautioned against behaviour that could undermine the nation's peace and stability.

The party also called on its supporters to celebrate the presidential victory responsibly. "The vandalism of state property, mob justice and any form of lawless retribution have the potential to undermine the peace and stability of our dear nation, hence unacceptable.
