Outgoing Member of Parliament (MP) for the Hohoe Constituency in the Volta Region, John-Peter Amewu, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to his constituents for allowing him to serve and to his supporters for their unwavering dedication to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the constituency.
In a statement following the 2024 parliamentary elections, Mr.
Amewu revealed that he had personally called to congratulate the newly elected MP, Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), on his victory.
He urged his supporters not to view the loss as the end of their political journey but rather as the start of a new chapter filled with renewed determination. "Let us not consider our defeat as the end of our journey; it is just the beginning of a new chapter.
