The (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Awutu Senya East Constituency, Phillis Naa Koryor, has been declared the elected Member of Parliament for the constituency in the recent December 7, 2024, presidential and parliamentary elections.
According to the returning officer of the Electoral Commission, , who doubles as Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, received 45,638 of the total valid votes cast, while Phillis Naa Koryor won with 50,886.
Meanwhile, Vice-President and (NPP) Flagbearer, Dr.
Mahamudu Bawumia, officially conceded defeat to his main opponent, John Dramani Mahama, in Ghana's 2024 Presidential Election.
