The US Ambassador to Ghana, Virginia Palmer has commended key stakeholders in the December 7 presidential and parliamentary elections.
According to her, the security officers and election officials have done a yeoman's job. "I'm impressed with the conduct of the security officers, the poll officers.
And in the lead up to the election I am deeply impressed with the level of planning of everything," she said in an interview with 3news on December 7. "I was glad that things have been peaceful.
It's been wonderful to see Ghana's democracy in action," she added.
