Police has declared a manhunt for a suspect Mujaheed Suraj, alias Mims, who allegedly shot and injured one person in the leg at the Awutu Senya East Constituency, in the Central Region.
The incident occurred on December 7, 2024 during the national elections.
The police in a statement said the suspect absconded from the scene leaving behind his vehicle which has now been seized and kept at the Police Station. "Police intelligence-led operation is underway to get the suspect arrested to face the full rigour of the law, and we want the to assure the public that we will surely get him," the statement added.
