The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Lower Manya Krobo Constituency of the Eastern Region has secured a fourth-term bid with an unprecedented margin.

Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi defeated his only contender, Simon Kweku Tetteh, who also serves as the current Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area.

In Saturday's parliamentary elections, Terlabi secured 29,048 votes, representing 64.1% of the total, compared to the NPP PC's 15,653 votes, which represents 34.5%.

The announcement was made by Jonathan Okine, Lower Manya Krobo District Electoral Officer at the Municipal Assembly, which served as the district collation center.
