In a tightly contested election, Sylvester Tetteh of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has lost the Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro parliamentary seat to Felix Okle Akwetey of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Akwetey secured victory with 37,473 votes, surpassing Tetteh's 27,888 votes.
Independent candidate Frank Mensah trailed behind with 347 votes.
Out of 66,218 votes cast, 65,708 were valid, with 510 ballots rejected.
