The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has stated that preliminary figures from the December 7 general election signify a resounding rejection of eight years of perceived corruption and mismanagement under the current administration.

According to the NDC, the results reflect the electorate's demand for a shift in governance, emphasizing transparency and accountability.

Speaking at a press conference in Accra on Sunday, December 8, the NDC's Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi, expressed confidence in the party's performance based on provisional results from their internal collation. "From the results we have so far, it is very clear that Ghanaians have rejected eight years of corruption, state capture, wastage, nepotism, and cronyism.

This is a strong message from the people that they are ready for change," Gyamfi stated.
