Chaos erupted at the Ahafo Ano North collation centre in the Ashanti Region after the close of polls on December 7, 2024.
According to a Joy News correspondent at the scene, the disturbance forced Electoral Commission officials to flee for their safety, leaving behind ballot materials.
These materials were eventually destroyed by agitated youth.
Footage shows an empty collation centre with ballot papers scattered and destroyed on the ground.
