The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has made significant gains in the 2024 elections, flipping the Mpohor and Sekondi parliamentary seats from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In Mpohor, Henry Godfred Bentil emerged victorious over the incumbent MP, John Kobina Abbam Aboah Sanie.
Bentil secured 11,680 votes, decisively outpacing Sanie's 8,299 votes.
Similarly, in Sekondi, NDC's Blay Nyameke Armah defeated incumbent Andrew Egyapa Mercer.
